Update log

A running record of what shipped — so you can see how often NoMap is improved.

  1. v0.1.6

Command planner, live AIS, and MapLibre globe

    • Landing command bar: describe a corridor in plain language (including map style and overlays) and open the public planner with those ports filled — filler like “oakland port” or “chinese port qingdao” resolves to the catalog
    • Live vessels default to MyShipTracking coastal AIS (bbox + search), with AISStream kept as a fallback; zoom into ports and busy coasts
    • Public planner globe is MapLibre’s 3D projection (toggle next to zoom), with a first-visit walkthrough on that same map and a replay control
  2. v0.1.5

Rounded MPP fuel rates and cross-device share/print

    • MPP and Custom Eco / Normal / Fast use rounded main-engine burn rates (13.5 / 22 / 34 t/day at 11 / 13 / 15 kn), with aux/hotel still added separately
    • Non-preset speeds and other vessel profiles keep cubic main-engine scaling versus normal speed
    • Analysis Share uses the native share sheet when available, with clipboard and manual-link fallbacks across Safari, Chrome, Opera, and other browsers
    • Print URL restore hardened for mobile Safari and similar browsers so analysis query params are not left stripped
  3. v0.1.4

Editable voyage assumptions and print polish

    • Sailing speed is now an editable integer (knots), with Eco / Normal / Fast as presets
    • Main and aux fuel consumption (t/day) exposed in voyage assumptions for every vessel profile
    • Voyage analysis print layout — branded masthead, disclaimers, expanded calculation details, shorter print URL
    • Landing-page disclaimers covering overview-only use, modeled estimates, and no warranty
  4. v0.1.3

Arctic corridors, passage alerts, and more ports

    • Arctic routing layer on the planner map — toggle Northern Sea Route and Northwest Passage overlays with per-corridor season, ice-class, escort, and savings analysis
    • Live sea-ice sampling along arctic corridors via the marine forecast pipeline
    • Arctic toggle and corridor selections tracked in product analytics
    • Expanded curated ports from ~120 to ~190 major global hubs across Europe, Africa, the Mid-East, Asia, the Americas, and Oceania
    • Passage alert newsletter control on the map — pick any combination of maritime passages and subscribe for email advisories
  5. v0.1.2

    Bug Fixes and Performance Improvements

    • Improved performance of the map when vessels are shown
  6. v0.1.1

Live vessel search, route snapshots, and analytics

    • Search live AIS vessels by name, MMSI, or call sign when vessels are shown
    • Save a PNG snapshot of planned routes from the map
    • Public update log so you can see how often NoMap ships improvements
  7. v0.1.0

Analytics, snapshots, vessel search & updates log

    • First-party product analytics with an admin dashboard
    • Save a PNG snapshot of planned routes from the map
    • Search live AIS vessels by name, MMSI, or call sign when vessels are shown
    • Public update log so you can see how often NoMap ships improvements
